Employment Guarantee and Assistance

There has been no better time than now to begin an exciting new career as an educator in Vietnam, teaching English to students of all ages. As Vietnam continues to develop and expand into the international community, the importance of a good English education is becoming more and more highlighted - and the search for well-qualified teachers is on overdrive. As an English teacher you will not only be providing valuable skills to a group of students eager and ready to learn, but you will also be a mentor, advisor, and source of guidance.

If shaping young minds in a beautiful country while getting paid sounds appealing to you, taking a TEFL course is the next step you need to take to make this dream a reality.

Guaranteed Employment

There is no doubt that there is currently an incredibly high demand in Vietnam for talented, qualified ESL teachers who can turn any class into a fun and educational experience. This surge in demand is so high, that AVSE is now offering an employment guarantee to graduates of our TEFL course taught in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Never before have we been so confident in our ability to adequately train, prepare, and place our graduates in stable, dynamic, and high-paying jobs.

Over the past 4 years, we have placed every single one of our graduating students in teaching jobs within Ho Chi Minh City. That’s a success rate of 100%. What’s more, 95% of those students were able to start at their new jobs less than 14 days after course completion.

At AVSE, we will stand by you every step of the way until you find a position with competitive pay rates. We don’t just tell you how confident we are in your success—we show you.

Teaching Hours and Hourly Rates

Native English speaking teachers earn an average of $15.00 per hour in Vietnam. Some teachers earn a bit less working in rural areas and others earn up to $25.00 per hour teaching English at universities and colleges and in the corporate sector. Most foreign teachers work between 20 and 30 hours per week. You can be assured there are more teaching positions available than there are qualified teachers to fill the positions - many times over.

While the hourly rate of pay is important, it needs to be balanced against the cost of living. By any measure, Vietnam is cheap. Western-style accommodation is available for around US $250.00 per month. It is possible to eat in a restaurant 3-times a day, 7-days a week - and have the occasional beer - but still have change from US $60.00.
